Fractions

We have been leaning about fractions of a set and how to create pictures using fractions.This is a work in progress but it is getting easier.

In this picture there are 10 presents and I have colored in 2/10 yellow, 3/10 Red 5/10 purple. There are 4/5 kids with party hats on 1/5 with not. With the balloons there are 2/12 blue 6/12 yellow 4/12 green.

RenderForest

We have been leaning how to create animations using Renderforest. I really enjoyed being able to choose my slides.We are going to learn how to use different parts of Renderforest. Watch this space.

Amazon Rainforest Fires

We have been doing lots of information gathering about the fires burning in the Amazon rain forest. Once we have gathered the information we learnt how to create a piece of opinion writing. It was really good to be able to explain how I felt.

Geo board

In pangarau we have been learning about shapes and their angels.Here is a photo of my Geo board.

3D shapes

In pangarau we have been learning about 3D shapes and how to make them. We used blue tac and toothpicks to create our shapes. I made a pyramid and a cube.

Enemy Pie Why does the main character dislike Jeremy Ross? Because they were enemies

Can you make a connection to the main character or Jeremy Ross? I can connect to both.

 Why do you think the dad doesn’t tell his son what’s in the pie? Because he wants them to be friend's.

 do you think the enemy pie smells so good? Because it has good ingredients.

 Why does Jeremy feel confused when the main character asks him to play? So he can get him to eat the pie.

 Why doesn’t the main character want Jeremy to eat the pie? Because they are enemies.

 What do you think will happen to Jeremy when he eats the pie?he was going two be sick.

 Was there anything nasty about the pie? no

 Why do you think the dad called it enemy pie So they would be good friend's.

 How did the main character’s feelings about Jeremy change from the beginning to the end of the story? Happy and good.

 If I was a zookeeper at a Orana Prak I wood be a lion and tiger keeper.I wood be a feed for the lions and tigers. The hole reason why I would do this job is because they are cool animals and they are Fearless and they can be dangerous sometimes two protect the cubs.

 The lion is usually a social animal while the tiger is solitary. ... While male lions are generally larger and stronger than female lions, it is the close-knit female pride alliance that typically hunts and provides for the pride. By contrast, tigers are often solitary, though they do socialize.

 These are some facts about lions and tigers. The lion is the 2 biggest cat in the world.

 Lions live it prides with like 30 lions in each pride.

 The tiger is the biggest species of the cat family.

 Tigers can reach a length of up to 3.3 meters (11 feet) and weigh as much as 300 kilograms (660 pounds).

 Tigers usually hunt alone at night time.

Tigers have been known to reach speeds up to 65 kph 40 mph.


Lion Pride members keep track of one another by roaring. Both males and females have a very powerful roar that can be heard up to 8 km (5 mi.) away.

What happened

I am in London and I am walking around to find a food shop.I have just walked past a cool piece of art but I think in my head how did it get there.I ask a man and he said he doesn't know how it got here I ask more people and they don’t know how it got there.So I look at it for a minute and then it moves. I step back and then it stops I said in my head what is it doing here maybe there might be aliens controlling it.So I kept walking to a shop but I could not find one so I just went back to my hotel I got some food at the hotel and then went to sleep.

 I wake up and then I get dressed and go and have some breakfast.Then go out side of the hotel and go and look at the moving artwork and over night it moved down the hill and so I followed it and then the bottom comes up and you can see in it and it is foe. I call the police they said we are on away.But it got faster and faster then I get what is going on.I think it is going to the sea the aliens might be in a submarine so I followed it and it was heading for the sea.So now I ring the army they come down to stop the aliens they get here and the police are blocking the road off and then the army shoots there bombs at the cool artwork and it dies in the first hit we cheer and then we won the war.

Matariki Machine

WAL to design Machine that we can take back in time and get food set for the winter faster so they don't have to do all that work.

Ruin

Ruin Hi my name is Ruin and I am in another diemengin and it is broken and destroyed here.I Have to get a device to save the world. I can see the rusty cars on the highway from the rooftops and I can see vines going everywhere up on the building's the grand is all soggy and the water is all mude and brown and there is a lot of bugs herelike mixtos,flies and bees the more I breathe the more fumis go in my system -I get more tired I saw a big steel box so that I have been looking for many years.I pushed it out of the window and then it hit the grand it made a bang. I kicked the steel box and then the door opened and it smelt like it had been there for years and years.I saw a mini flat ipad I could see through it .I have not had the time to be charged so I trend it on and my and my skin was going light blue.Then I heard a spaceship I ran as fast as could I kept running to my motorbike I got to it and I turned it on then drive away the spaceship followed me it dropped two little mini robot’s they were firing bullets at me but they were bad shootersI saw a sign that said tunnel this was. I went as fast as I could I. Had bombs I scraped it on my bike and then I dropped it. The bad guy’s robots died but it only killed one.Then Game the other one kept chasing me. I kept going I got to the tunnel I went in and it was as dark as the night sky I turned my light on then kept staring. I saw the end so I got my other bomb out and dropped it as I got out boom they exploded .I thought I lost the mather ship but I didn't I saw I come out for the bottom. Of the brig I saw a ramp going to the spaceship I went up it and jumped on it and then I pulled my metal white sword out and jumped in the air and stabbed the ship and it falls.Then hits the ground hard so does my bike I get up and .

We have been learning how to design our dream house.My dream house has 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom,1 lounge I have 1 pool,1 rugby filed and a 2 car garage one thing I love about my house is my gaming room.

Lost ted.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     One day i was walking down the sidewalk with my teddy named ted and my mum. He has a nice red velvet bow and he is a lite white collar.We are just going to KFC to get a feed i said to my mum can i get a popcorn chicken lunch? But then he crumbled out of my hands and fell on the wet soggy ground without me knowing. Then when we arrived at KFC we placed our order now we are eating it is so good. Then when i went to put ted on the red Sofa. He was not there i told my mum that ted is lost.I imagine in my head how wet and soggy he is. We then went to look for him i was worried because he is all alone and he has never be alone be for. We didn't find him I started to cry. Ted is like my best friend. I have a plan to find him i told my mum I said to her we should put up a flyer to see if someone has found him. We made a flyer with a picture of me and Ted on it and mums phone number. We then stuck the flyer around the streets on power poles. 4 days later someone rang up mum and said i have found your sons Teddy bear. The lady said to mum would you be able to pick him up now? I am guessing your son would really love to have him back. Mum then said let’s go for a walk I grabbed my helmet and bike and of we went. Mum didn't tell me where we were going just that we were going for a walk. We then turned up at a house that i didn't know. I asked mum what are we doing here? We knocked on the door and the lady welcomed us in. I saw Ted on the sofa he was washed and dry like nothing was wrong with him. I was so glad to see him we thanked the lady so much for finding my best friend. Thank you I enjoy doing these word challengers.
